Furry Happy Monsters
REM and The Muppets singing the "Furry Happy Monsters" song.
I don't know about you, but I really like the Muppets. I Especially liked the old TV shows where each week a new celebrity guest-star would appear to co-star with the Muppets.

AT&T and Oranges
This is a ridiculous incident recorded live, of an AT&T worker using his AT&T vehicle to pick oranges from a private tree (when the van is outside on the road, supposedly "at work")-
And speaking of AT&T, here's another funny vid-

Jodie Coston's Free Online Photography Course
Surfing around the net you see a lot of amateur photographers out there. Some of the better ones post on Flickr their amazing creations, while others publish them in their own blogs, MySpace, Facebook or to their Picasa account. While most newbie's can pick up a digicam today, point and click, the strive to get a better result forces one to consider learning this craft.
As with many other hobbies (or professions if you are a pro), you have to have someone teach you the ropes, or learn them yourself. For that purpose, you'd be pleased to find Jodie Coston's Free Online Photography Course, where you can take 10 lessons to improve your skills.

Little Miss Sunshine (2006)
Little Miss Sunshine (2006) is probably the best movie your'e going to see in the next couple of months. It tells a story of a real-life family, not the regular Hollywood-perfect family you usually see on the screen, who face several hardships in a very short time. Despite the hardships they find themselves sticking together and helping each other out even when it seems like everyone else has lost hope.
If you ever thought your family is weird, here is your chance to find out that you are not alone - Little Miss Sunshine (2006), in a theater near you.
BTW - no, I don't get money for writing this post. I really enjoyed the movie!

Subliminal Ads in Food Network
Check out the explanation of it all here. I just can't believe that some networks think that they can still do that and get away with it :-(.

Virtualization tools and FireFox hacks
One of the ways to install and tryout a new OS is to use a virtualization software. It can simulate many types of enviroments and enable the avid user to install, for example, a Linux distrobution on an NTFS. One such option that has just become OpenSource (that's right!) is VirtualBox from InnoTek. This is a nice alternative to using the LiveCD option.
Another novel idea is adding a splash screen to your mozilla products. Using Firefox with this extention enables the splash screen as seen in the screenshots from the downloads page.

An interesting intersection in Asia
This link has a short video of an intersection in Asia. It is so different from "regulated transportation intersections" that you see in Western countries. You'll probably notice that there is not a lot of traffic like there could be in Asia, but it's still interesting.
